From the coffee cherry to tablets

The whole fruit, full flavour, coffee you can finally take anywhere

For centuries, coffee was enjoyed in a cup. Chocolate found the path to the solid bar much earlier. At Tintico, we follow that same journey for coffee — rethinking not only the format, but what we use from the cherry.

The same path as chocolate: from liquid to tablet

The modern history of coffee is first the story of a drink: roasting, grinding, brewing, cup. Powerful and ritualised, it remains tied to equipment, gesture and waiting time.

Chocolate took the decisive step of becoming solid, portioned and portable. That conversion — from liquid ritual to gourmet object — is what Tintico brings to coffee with its coffee squares.

Our ambition is not to replace the cup, but to give coffee a second life: mobile, immediate and indulgent, with no machine or water, wherever you want it.

Using the whole coffee cherry

In the conventional supply chain, only the bean is valued. Pulp, mucilage and cascara — so much richness often lost or underused after harvest.

Tintico tablets rely on a different approach: harnessing the entire coffee fruit. Cascara, mucilage and roasted bean all contribute, concentrating the fullest expression of the fruit in a single bite.

It is a paradigm shift: no longer extracting one part of the cherry, but revealing the synergy of all its components — taste, texture and nutritional potential.

Cocoa butter, a neutral-tasting carrier

To solidify coffee without masking it, Tintico uses cocoa butter. Naturally mild and relatively neutral on the palate, it acts as a gourmet matrix without overpowering coffee aromas.

This base lets roasted, fruity or spiced notes shine through, while delivering a melt-in-the-mouth texture that is pleasant to bite into.

The result: a tablet where you taste coffee first — its intensity, complexity and character — carried by an elegant support that keeps flavours and virtues centre stage.

A fairer, more resilient, more nourishing model

Valuing the whole cherry is not only a gustatory achievement: it is an economic and ecological lever. By using the entire harvest, Tintico helps triple partner farmers' income, who no longer depend on a single part of the fruit.

This approach fits resilient agriculture based on agroforestry: systems grown in symbiosis with the forest, protecting soils, supporting biodiversity and strengthening farms against climate change.

Finally, the Tintico tablet concentrates natural antioxidants from coffee and its co-products — an indulgence that combines immediate pleasure and nutritional richness, without compromising on quality.

From whole cherry to portable tablet: coffee enters a new era — fairer and more gourmet.

Tintico is not just a format innovation. We are telling a different way to think about the coffee chain: use the whole fruit, pay growers better, and offer consumers an intense, practical product with meaning.

Like chocolate before it, coffee deserved its tablet. Today, it is here — ready to bite into.
